It's a shame that we weren't able to show our great form in the final for seven-year-olds today.
Segantini FRH, owned by Maik Kanitzky, qualified for the final of the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, just like last year. I am very proud of this achievement, as it means he is once again among the best young horses of his age group.
Nevertheless, I am a little disappointed that we were unable to deliver our best performance today. Segantini FRH is an outstanding horse and has proven this many times. But he is also a stallion and has an incredible amount of power that needs to be harnessed. Unfortunately, he lacked concentration in parts of the test today, which affected his responsiveness. Of course, we also had many highlights, especially in the canter tour. The riding feeling on Segantini is simply fantastic, and I am incredibly grateful to Maik Kanitzky for allowing me to train him! With more routine and ongoing training, he will certainly be able to bring all of his energy to the arena at some point.
With 74.779 percent, we finished tenth in the final test in Verden.
