Karli secured a top placing in the Grand Prix Special of the CDI3* Tour.
Karlijn V (trained by Gabriele Kippert and Eva-Maria Mann) accompanied Roman and me to Herning to compete in the CDI3* Tour. In the Grand Prix, she was still very distracted by the indoor arena and we simply made too many mistakes; the Special went much better for us. Lots of great and expressive sections of the test, and unfortunately one very costly mistake in the flying changes, meant we finished fourth in the Special, which I rode on a snaffle bit. It’s great that many international competitions now offer the option to choose between a curb bit and a snaffle bit.
