Last weekend, the Trakehner mare Hermine and I celebrated a victorious show debut.
The eight-year-old Donauruf daughter Hermine was bred and owned by Vanessa and Hans Peer Rüdel from Kiel and has been in my stable for around three years. My favourite horse Van Deyk can be found in her pedigree and her dam line goes back to the bloodline with which my dad bred Trakehner horses for a long time.
So far, my rider Hannah Milena Rother has trained Hermine carefully and has already shown her successfully at advanced level. Unfortunately, Hannah has been out for a while due to injury (get well soon dear Hannah), so I have now taken over Hermine.
I am super happy with our performance last weekend, where we won an advanced (S*) level dressage test with 72.86 per cent. Hermine doesn't have much competition experience yet and is sometimes a bit introverted, so I'm even happier about our successful debut. It can go on like this!
