Warendorf: Segantini qualifies

I'm absolutely delighted that Segantini and I will be representing the German colours at the World Championships for six-year-old dressage horses.

Today was Segantini's second World Championships inspection and I am really happy! Not only about the result, but especially about the sovereignty and composure with which he completed the task. At the first inspection, the extremely talented Secret son, owned by Gestüt MK Ammerland / Maik Kanitzky, was still distracted by the atmosphere, but today there was absolutely no sign of that.

I am incredibly proud of how well he has developed over the past few weeks and how he has also made another huge mental leap in the right direction.

The judges' comments were correspondingly positive, as they could not recognise any weak points in the entire test and praised all three basic gaits beyond measure. Segantini also commended himself with four fantastic uphill canter changes and balanced lateral movements.

I'm really looking forward to Ermelo and hope we can show everyone there what I've known for a long time.

Namely that Segantini is a very special horse!
