Schenefeld: Valenciano Takes Second Place

Valenciano and I kicked off the dressage festival in Schenefeld with a very nice round.

Valenciano, the impressive son of Vitalis (breeder: Maik Kanitzky), has gained an incredible amount of confidence and stability over the past few months and is now able to demonstrate this more and more effectively in the arena. We’ve trained this agile Westphalian very patiently, and I’m very pleased with his progress.

In today’s S*-level dressage class—which, to my delight, was open to horses ridden in a snaffle bit—Valenciano impressed with numerous highlights and secured second place in the competition.
