A few days ago I told you that Flashback had "moved up" to the final of the Nürnberger Burg Pokal in Frankfurt.
However, we have now received an update on this:
Flashback has to give way to his stablemate Salvina.
A mistake in the numbers meant that it was initially assumed that Flashback was the candidate with the highest score due to his performance in the qualification phase and we were informed about this. However, after re-checking the figures on the part of the Nürnberger Versicherung, it has now been established that Salvina is in front.
I feel very sorry for Flashback and his owners, because he has developed tremendously since the qualification and he would have more than deserved it to go to the final. But Salvina is also a very special horse with a lot of charm and quality! On the other hand, I am also happy for her and her owners that she can go to Frankfurt with me.
I am sure that both horses will show what they are capable of and that the next big chance will come for Flashback!
