In the Grand Prix in front of the beautiful Münster Castle, First Romance placed third.
I am very happy with Roman! He is a horse with an incredible amount of smoothness and got off to a great start in the test. After the mistake in the one-tempi, I didn't correct him immediately, but let him take a breath to calmly sort everything out again. I deliberately wanted to give Roman a sense of security. After that he was totally focused again and was able to play to his strengths. I am so happy and satisfied with the development and the constant success in the past months.
Roman will compete in the Special on Sunday. I always like to ride the "compulsory", like the Special, with the younger Grand Prix horses. That creates routine and gives the horses security. A freestyle for Roman is already in the works.
