Munich: Karlijn V. Fourth

Karlijn V. impressed at the start of Pferd International with a fourth place in the Intermediaire II.

I am very happy with the ten-year-old Karlijn V. (O: Gabriele Kippert and Eva-Maria Mann) today. The committed mare is not used to showing herself in front of such a backdrop and she did a great job today. Of course she was a little impressed, but she still focussed on me very well and showed a beautiful test. We had to make small (and unfortunately expensive) compromises in the collected walk, where Karlijn wanted to show more of her talent. I was particularly pleased with the very successful canter and the final line, it was a bombastic feeling.
