Some of you may have already read about it:

Unfortunately, I had to have surgery on my hand after an accident.

Fortunately, the operation went well and I am already on the road to recovery. A big thank you to the wonderful team of doctors and nurses in the trauma surgery department at DIAKOVERE Friederikenstift Hannover, and especially to Prof. Dr. Lill.

Even though I won't be able to ride for the next few weeks, I am very grateful that everything turned out well. And of course, I am already looking forward to the moment when I can get back in the saddle again soon.

A huge thank you goes to my wonderful team, who will continue to care for the horses with great passion and keep everyone moving in the coming weeks. I am incredibly grateful for this.

And I'm trying to see the positive in it: I now have the opportunity to accompany, train, and support my students and my team even more intensively from the ground – that's also an important part of my work, which I enjoy very much.

Because anyone who knows me knows that you can't get me out of the stable so easily.
