Roman kicks off the World Cup season with a placing in the Grand Prix.
In Herning, Denmark, Roman (owned by Gabriele Kippert and Eva-Maria Mann) competed today in the World Cup Grand Prix in a truly impressive arena that was very exciting for the horses. He was very focused and listened to me well, which I was delighted about. We were able to put on a largely excellent performance; the highlights were certainly the extended trots, the canter pirouettes and an expressive final line. Unfortunately, a mistake crept in during the flying changes from jump to jump – that cost us dearly! Otherwise, I’m very satisfied and am absolutely looking forward to our fantastic Joe Cocker freestyle on Saturday.
