Karli was ‘on fire’ in the Grand Prix Special, but managed to win this class just as she had done in the Grand Prix.
Karlijn V, a granddaughter of Totilas (bred by Gabriele Kippert and Eva-Maria Mann), impressed this weekend with two victories in the CDI3* series. I rode both classes on a snaffle bit and am delighted that we now have the option to choose between a snaffle bit and a curb bit in international competitions. Karli gave me a brilliant feeling in both starts; in today’s Special, she was incredibly powerful and expressive – I’m very pleased with her!
