Görlitz: A place in the final for Valerie B

This special mare has left me a bit speechless!

First competition, two wins with scores over 74 per cent, and to top it all off, a place in the final of the Nuremberg Burg-Pokal. It’s unbelievable what Valerie B (bred by Maik Kanitzky / Gestüt Famos) achieved at our first competition together.

The eight-year-old daughter of Revolution was focused throughout and was determined to give her very best; I had goosebumps all over after the ride! Today, compared to the first class, I was able to take a bit more of a risk – the feeling was simply indescribable. We’re heading home with a grin on my face, happy horses and my 25th horse to qualify for the Burg-Pokal final.
