Guxhagen-Dörnhagen: Maxi Kraft’s Barcelo OLD takes third place

Today, the ten-year-old Maxi Kraft’s Barcelo OLD placed in an Intermediaire II.
My star pupil, Barcelo OLD (trainer: Maik Kanitzky), was unfortunately a little overwhelmed by the exciting atmosphere today and perhaps had just a tad too much energy. We managed the trot sequence very well and Barcelo, who has absolutely no weaknesses, shone with expressive piaffes and passages. Unfortunately, things got a bit tense during the canter. Barcelo is simply an incredibly talented horse who enjoys his work and movement, just as I’d hope. We’re just still fine-tuning the balance.
In the end, we came third in the Intermediaire II with 71.754 per cent.
