First Romance secured a ribbon in the Grand Prix of the World Cup Tour.
It was the first start for Roman and me in this impressive arena. After his long break, Gothenburg is only the second tournament for us and unfortunately you could tell that in places.
The best thing first: Roman (B: Gabriele Kippert and Eva-Maria Mann) feels fantastic and is in top condition! I had a great feeling during the warm-up and this was also confirmed in many parts of the test. Roman is super energetic, you can really tell how much he enjoys being on the road again. But, of course, after the long break we lacked a bit of competition routine and so a few mistakes crept in. An annoying clop in the piaffe or a somewhat hasty Roman, who wanted to show the changes from jump to jump in the double changes. But these are all small things that we will now work on again. I'm over the moon that he's so fit and enjoying himself so much!
