Barcelo OLD received a 9.1 in the winner's prize of the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal, the freestyle at the rider's discretion.
The Frankfurt Festhalle went wild and I think Barcelo OLD really enjoyed his performance.
Despite the loud music and the party atmosphere, he completed the lessons I had asked of him with his ears pricked up. It was just great fun, even though the judges placed him a close second.
What an end to the year for my horses and me, we are now going home grateful and happy and all of us, two-legged and four-legged, will enjoy a few quiet festive days.
