Wow! Segantini places second in the final qualifier for the World Championships for six-year-old dressage horses with dream marks.
To be honest, I'm still a bit speechless! I've known for some time that Segantini (owner: Maik Kanitzky / Gestüt M.K. Ammerland) is an exceptional talent. But the fact that he was able to realise his full potential right from our first start in Ermelo is not something to be taken for granted. We've only done a few shows together and as a popular stallion it's not always easy for Segantini to concentrate solely on his job in the dressage arena. But today he was fully focussed on me and completed a dream round with correspondingly high marks. 8.7 for the trot, 8.5 for the walk, 8.8 for the canter and, what I am particularly proud of, a 9.4 for the presentation and a 9.2 for the perspective.
I'm really looking forward to the final, so please keep your fingers crossed for us.
