Last week, at short notice, I decided to go to Marbach with Roman and Khalifa.
First Romance aka Roman competed in the three-star tour and won the short Grand Prix scoring over 77 percent. Also in the Grand Prix he received the golden ribbon for my dedicated clown, who received 73.72 percent here after minor faults.
It feels really good to be back at the show with the younger horses and the tests also show that it is necessary. The test routine is simply not there when the horses don't compete for so many weeks.
The six-year-old KWPN stallion Khalifa also travelled with me to Marbach. Khalifa is a son of Jazz and is owned by the Elahe GmbH. It was a great pleasure to show this talented bay in Marbach. Khalifa knows how to present himself and decided the medium dressage test for young horses in his favour with a final score of 8.5. He even received a 9.0 for canter and overall impression, which is a result to build on!
