Maxi Kraft's Barcelo OLD (owner: Maik Kanitzky / Gestüt M.K. Ammerland) took victory in both classes of the CDI1* tour. I'm very happy with Barcelo, who should now gain some competition routine before the final of the Nürnberger Burg Pokal in Frankfurt in December. Today he was even more focussed on me than in the first test, showed a very stable trot tour and super pirouettes. We had a small coordination problem in the flying changes tour at the start, but we will work on that in the coming weeks and hopefully be in top form in Frankfurt.
Barcelo is simply a horse with so many possibilities and a great ability to take loads, and he is also beautiful. And that's also how he presents himself at the show, he's simply a ‘comer’.
