The victory in the Grand Prix Special of the CDI4* tour went to ‘Ente’ today.
Our Dayman aka ‘Ente’ (owner: Lian-United GmbH) gave me a great present today. Of course I was delighted to win the special, but the warm-up was even better.
Dayman often needs a little more security and support in the test and sometimes gets a little tight in the topline when he is unsure. There was no sign of this at all on the warm-up arena today, I don't think I've ever had such a great feeling on him at the show!
The first part of the special, the trot tour, went accordingly well. Loose, beautiful through the body with lots of expression, that was really fun! Unfortunately, he got a bit stuck again in canter, which resulted in a few mistakes. But all in all, I'm really happy, it was a really good test today.
