Darmstadt-Kranichstein: First Romance shines

Roman won his first competition after a long break in commanding style.

Today was finally the day: Roman (bred by Gabriele Kippert and Eva-Maria Mann) competed in his first test since October last year. Over the past few weeks, he’s clearly shown me just how fit he is and that he’s really raring to go. And that’s exactly how it felt in the arena today! With plenty of energy and expression, he clinched victory in the test, scoring 74.433 per cent from the judges despite a costly mistake. I’m absolutely delighted with him!
