In the German Freestyle Championships, Faustus placed fifth.
After Showi's fantastic performance in Grand Prix and Special, I decided yesterday together with the national trainers that he will not do the freestyle today. Showi is still in training and in a fortnight' time we will be competing in Aachen, where we of course want to be in top shape again.
I saddled Faustus for the freestyle at the German Championships and he had some highlights in his test. Unfortunately, however, we made a mistake in the flying changes and a pirouette didn't turn out so well, because he had to muck there. What a pity, that cost us valuable points! Nevertheless, with 80.40 percent we took fifth place among very strong competitors.
