I still can't really put into words how brilliant our final round was today.
First of all, a huge thank you to Barcelo's owner Maik Kanitzky for allowing me to train and present this fantastic horse. Barcelo quickly wormed his way into my heart with his charm, his incredibly kind nature and his talent and I am incredibly proud of how well we harmonise as a pair.
Barcelo was 100 per cent with me in the final today and wasn't at all impressed by the packed festival hall. I just let him do his thing and let him take me with him, the feeling was fantastic. In his commentary, Christoph Hess praised, among other things, the halt, the backwards and the introduction to and the pirouettes. I can only agree with that, thank you Barcelo for giving me so much pleasure every day with your rideability, your incredible attitude to work and your talent!
Victory with 76.720 per cent!
My 20th final horse in this great series in front of the best audience in Frankfurt, we are ready for the winner's prize tonight!
